Our Founders

It all began in 1980’s Singapore, at a small market stall in Chinatown. Mr and Mrs Lee carved out their future as humble butchers serving the local community with fresh pork daily.

The entrepreneurial spirit of the dynamic duo grew and they progressed to providing pork deboning and distribution to food processing and manufacturing. Then came the outbreak of the Nipah virus, which changed circumstances in markets in Malaysia and Singapore.

The halt in import of live pigs into the island state altered the course of the future for the couple. In swift response, they shifted their business focus to the provision of cold storage for foods. This marked the birth of JCS.
